Father's Day 09

To celebrate Dean's 1st Father's Day we went down to Gramps & Grammy Grin's for the day. Bonnie gave a presentation on her Holy Land trip at church and then we had dinner with Jane, Doug & Becky. If Zach sees the dishwasher open he always volunteers to help! It was a fun time!

Hoppy Easter!

Christ is Risen! Alleluia!
What a wonderful season and reason to celebrate! And wonderful to celebrate with all the ones we love!
We stayed with Grammy and Gramps Grin for the weekend. And got together with our cousins for some egg dying, Easter meal, a river walk and Knooking (always a highlight!).
This year Zach got to smash eggs too. But I must say that the adults did a pretty good job of it too.
The Sheyenne river is very wide and high as are a lot of the rivers and ponds in our state. We had to get out for a little adventure to check it out.
When we arrived home Sunday we found our pond had filled up too! Quite the change from being completely dry last fall.
After we got back, we took a trip to see some of the Ski family too.

Grin Christmas 08

We had a wonderful get together at the Grin farm on Christmas day. And Zach got to meet Uncle Ross for the first time. We were so glad to Ross and Sheila again! We stayed at the farm and visited with them for a couple days. And as you can see we had fun Celebrating!

K-nooking 2008

This year was a small get-together with my family. Since Ross and Wade weren't around. So was just Mama and Papa, Jane and Doug, Becky and Jason and Dean and I.
We had a fun time- Dad made his first attempt at ever dying Easter eggs which was comical. And then we kept up the tradition of K-nooking (spelling questionable but sounds like kan-nooking) This year I won!! Whoo Hoo! This game always creates lots of laughs. Anyway we had a Happy Easter!

Hitched!

Instead of Deer hunting this past weekend, the big event was Becks wedding. We all had a great time and wish Becks & Jason a wonderful happy ever after!

Showering Becky

Saturday we held a shower in honor of the Birde to Be Becky! It was fun and Becky got a lot of nice things for her and Jason's home.
Shawna provided the games and I sang "when Irish Eyes are Smiling" and "Becky's Wild about Jason" to the tune of "I'm just Wild about Harry". The kids really liked the tune so up-beat and fun that they couldn't resist dancing!
A good time was had by all. Now...Let the countdown begin!

The Bachelorette Party

Last night we had a bachelorette party for Becky. Since Molly and Becky K. were back in ND over this week, they figured it would be the best time for a little get together before the wedding. It was quite the party, Becks had to answer questions about Jason to get prizes and even break a "penis" pinata! We also had fun playing lawn games, visiting and grilling out.
